Cyclist killed in north Fresno crash

FRESNO, CA – A 74-year-old man was killed in Fresno on Tuesday morning after his bike was struck by a vehicle, ABC 30 reports. 

The accident occurred at the intersection of Herndon Avenue and Blackstone Avenue around 5:30 a.m. The victim was riding south in a crosswalk when he was hit by a silver SUV.

He suffered critical injuries and was rushed to a local hospital, where he later passed away. His identity has not been released.

The cause of the crash remains unknown.
