SAN DIEGO, CA – A crash at Torrey Pines State Beach killed two and left three injured last week, Fox 5 San Diego reports.  The accident occurred around 11 p.m. on April 25th. The victims were speeding in a 2020 Subaru WRX when the driver lost control near 13000 N. Torrey Pines Road. The vehicle crash through the guardrail and several rocks before coming to rest on the beach. Two of the passengers, both 19-year-old men, were killed at the scene. Two other passengers were hospitalized with serious injuries. The 19-year-old driver suffered minor injuries. Police are investigating to determine

SAN DIEGO, CA – Two people were injured in a head-on collision caused by a wrong-way driver in Rancho San Diego on Monday, Fox 5 San Diego reports.  The collision occurred on Willow Glen Drive around 9:25 a.m. It was caused by a black Kia that crossed into oncoming traffic and hit a white Toyota Camry. The Kia then also hit a gold Honda Accord. The 41-year-old Kia driver and the 45-year-old Camry driver sustained moderate injuries and were taken to Sharp Memorial Hospital. ENCINITAS, CA – A motorcyclist was killed in a crash in Encinitas on Thursday afternoon, according to ABC 10 San Diego. The events leading up to the crash have not been reported at this time. The motorcyclist died at the scene. It is not clear whether another vehicle was involved. SAN DIEGO, CA – A UPS truck driver was killed in San Diego on Tuesday night when wet roads caused his truck to flip over, Fox 5 San Diego reports. The victim was driving north on I-15 approaching I-8 when he lost control of the truck around 6:15 p.m. The truck eventually came to rest on the right shoulder of the highway. SAN DIEGO, CA – A man was killed Sunday morning after crashing into a parked car on Rancho Bernardo Road, ABC 10 reports.  The crash occurred in the 12100 block of Rancho Bernardo Road shortly before 5:30 a.m. The victim was driving east when he lost control and crashed into a parked vehicle. The driver was rushed to the hospital, where he later passed away do to his injuries. The parked vehicle was knocked forward was caused a chain reaction that struck five other vehicles.
