EL CAJON, CA – A truck lost control on I-8 and crashed into an El Cajon mobile home, leaving two injured, Fox 5 San Diego reports.  The accident occurred around 8 a.m. on Tuesday. The truck was driving west of I-8 when the driver lost control near Dunbar Lane. The truck left the highway, crashed through a fence, and struck a mobile home. The 30-year-old truck driver and his 24-year-old passenger sustained minor injuries. There were two people in the mobile home at the time of the crash and they remained uninjured. VALLEY CENTER, CA – A head-on crash in Valley Center left one person dead and two others injured on Tuesday evening, Fox 5 San Diego reports.  The accident occurred on Lilac Road near Via Piedra shortly before 6 p.m. The victim was a 76-year-old woman who was a passenger in a black Chevrolet Bolt that was travelling west on Lilac Road. A 62-year-old man was driving a grey Lexus ES 350 in the eastbound lanes of Lilac road when he lost control and veered into oncoming traffic, striking the Bolt. SANTEE, CA – A motorcycle crash in Santee left one person dead on Thursday morning, according to ABC 10 San Diego.  The accident occurred in the westbound lanes of State Route 52, near Mast Boulevard, around 5:15 a.m. The cause of the accident is not clear at this time. One person, believed to be the motorcycle rider, died at the scene. Police have not confirmed whether other vehicles were involved or if others were injured. SAN MARCOS, CA – A 29-year-old man was killed in San Marcos after being hit by a pickup truck on Tuesday, KUSI reports.  The victim was attempting to cross Mission Road around 11:25 p.m. when he was struck by a Dodge Ram 1500. JAMUL, CA – A woman was killed in Jamul on Saturday when a boat fell off a trailer on the road, Fox 5 San Diego reports.  The incident occurred on Honey Springs Road around 6:30 p.m. on Saturday. The boat trailer was being towed behind a  2000 Mazda B300 driven by a 28-year-old man when it fell off and struck a 2016 Fiat 500. The 49-year-old woman driving the Fiat suffered serious injuries and was taken to the hospital, where she died a few hours later. Her husband, who was a passenger, sustained minor injuries. LA MESA, CA – One person was killed on Saturday night following a collision on I-8 in La Mesa, the Times of San Diego reports.  The accident occurred around 7 p.m. in the westbound lanes of I-8 near Severin Drive. According to witnesses, the victim was speeding recklessly through traffic when he lost control and hit an embankment on the right shoulder. His vehicle then rolled over and he died at the scene. Initial reports indicate that multiple vehicles were involved in the accident. It is not clear at this time when and how they became involved. No other injures
