MADERA, CA – A man was killed in Madera on Thursday after a head-on collision that also sent two woman and two children to the hospital. According to the Fresno Bee, the accident occurred near the intersection of Avenue 12 and Road 34 1/2 around 2:15 p.m. The 25-year-old victim was travelling east on Avenue 12 in a Saturn Ion that was attempting to pass a Dodge Caliber. FRESNO, CA – A 23-year-old man was killed as he was riding his bicycle in Fresno, according to Your Central Valley News.  The accident occurred at the intersection of Hayes Avenue and Shaw Avenue. The victim saw an SUV approaching and attempted to stop but was unable to avoid a collision. The driver of the SUV remained at the scene and cooperated with police. FRESNO COUNTY, CA – A 66-year-old woman from Clovis was killed in a Fresno County crash on Tuesday morning, ABC 30 reports.  The single-vehicle crash occurred on Auberry Road near Jose Basin Road. FRESNO, CA – A collision on Wednesday morning sent one person to the hospital on Highway 99 in Fresno, ABC 30 reports.  The accident occurred around 11:15 a.m. on Wednesday near Manning Avenue on Highway 99. A big-rig truck was driving south when it turned over on the highway. An Amazon truck was travelling behind the truck and attempted to brake but was unable to avoid the collision. FRESNO, CA – A 74-year-old man was killed in Fresno on Tuesday morning after his bike was struck by a vehicle, ABC 30 reports.  The accident occurred at the intersection of Herndon Avenue and Blackstone Avenue around 5:30 a.m. The victim was riding south in a crosswalk when he was hit by a silver SUV. MADERA, CA – Three people were injured, including one in serious condition, following a head-on collision on State Route 41 in Madera. According to local news, a woman from Fresno was driving south on 41 around 5:50 p.m. on Monday. She then crossed over the double yellow lines and struck an oncoming truck. It is not clear what caused her to leave her lane. She then crashed into a rock embankment and became pinned inside her vehicle. FRESNO, CA – A pedestrian was killed in Fresno early Friday morning after being hit by a truck then dragged for four miles, local news reports.  The fatal accident occurred at the La Quinta Inn near the intersection of Cornelia Avenue and Golden State Boulevard.
