LOS ANGELES, CA – A scooter rider was struck by a van and dragged for 25 feet before the driver fled the scene, KTLA reports.
The accident occurred near the intersection of Fickett Street and Boulder Street around 9 p.m. on Saturday.
The victim had fallen off his scooter and, as he was laying in the road, was struck by a white van. He was dragged by the van for 25 feet before becoming dislodged as the driver fled.
The victim, a 40-year-old man, sustained serious injuries but is currently in stable condition and expected to survive.
