WOODLAND HILLS, CA- One woman died in a crash that also injured two people on the northbound 101 Freeway around 12:28a.m., CBSLA Staff reports.
CHP officer Patrick Kimball reported that the CHP arrived on the scene near the Shoup Ave ramp. They found an SUV drove onto an embankment after veering off the road, having driven at up to 90 mph before hitting it.
The Los Angeles Police Department also reported on the scene to excavate three people who were under the SUV.
The woman killed died on the scene, while the injured were hospitalized.
Police closed down the lanes between Topanga Canyon Boulevard through Woodland Hills throughout the day.
